Laboratory Diagnostics

Upon the decision of the Berlin Chamber of Deputies, the laboratories of the Charité merged with Vivantes. Consequentially, Routine Diagnostics (Department of Immunology) became part of the joint subsidiary, the Labor Berlin - Charité Vivantes GmbH.
The Department of Immunology of the Labor Berlin - Charité Vivanctes GmbH offers a wide range of methods, focusing on cellular immunophenotyping and cellular functional tests for patients with suspected primary or secondary immunodeficiencies and intensive care patients.

Cytokine Round Robin Tests:
Since April 2004, the Institute of Medical Immunology has also provided advice on the implementation of the cytokine round robin tests of the Reference Institute for Bioanalytics (RfB).
