Clinical Research at the Psoriasis Research and Treatment Center

The Psoriasis Research and Treatment Center headed by PD Dr. med. Robert Sabat is an interdisciplinary center of the Institute of Medical Immunology and the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology of the Charité. The center is comprised of the three working fields: Experimental Research, Clinical Research and Patient Care. Here you will find information about the Clinical Study Center headed by Dr. med. Clinical Study Center

The Clinical Study Center conducts innovative therapy studies (Phase I - IV) and observational studies in patients with Psoriasis and Acne inversa/Hidradenitis suppurativa. It is based on many years of trustful outpatient care and interaction with patient organizations, the close cooperation with industry partners, and a high quality standard in the conduct of studies (certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015).

The Clinical Study Center does not just conduct clinical studies. Through the close interaction with the center's experimental research group (Molecular Immunopathology), it also ensures laboratory diagnostics and accompanying scientific examinations for the study patients.
